Dunlop Golf Europe Bolsters Sales and Retailer Support Across UK and Ireland

30 July, 2026

LONDON - Dunlop Golf Europe has announced two key appointments aimed at strengthening its retailer support network across the UK and Ireland, highlighted by the return of industry veteran Russ Berry as Area Sales Manager for Oxford and East England.

The move follows the recent addition of Jonathan Goodswen, who joins the business in the newly created role of Demo Representative for Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Together, the strategic hires underscore Dunlop Golf Europe’s ongoing commitment to investing in its retail partners. By expanding sales coverage, technical expertise, and in-store product demonstrations, the company aims to capitalise on growing market demand for its core equipment brands: Srixon, Cleveland Golf, and XXIO.

Strategic Return Strengthens Eastern Region

Berry brings a rich background in golf retail, sales, custom fitting, club building, and professional play. Having previously spent over three years with Dunlop Golf Europe as a technical representative, he boasts an established industry network and an intimate familiarity with the brand portfolio.

In his new capacity, Berry will partner directly with retailers across Oxford and East England, providing commercial support, technical insights, and fitting strategies to drive regional growth.

“We are delighted to welcome Russ back to Dunlop Golf Europe,” said Gareth Taylor, Head of UK & Ireland Sales. “Russ brings an outstanding level of product knowledge, fitting expertise, and experience from across the golf industry. His understanding of our brands, combined with his strong relationships and commercial experience, will make him a valuable addition to the sales team.”

Taylor added: “We remain committed to providing our retail partners with the highest possible level of support, and Russ will play an important role in helping us continue to grow Srixon, Cleveland Golf, and XXIO throughout Oxford and East England.”

Berry’s career in golf began in 2007, earning his fully qualified PGA Professional status in 2010. He subsequently served six years as a Head Professional before extending his experience into Tour support, sales, custom fitting, and master club building.

“I am extremely happy to be returning to Dunlop Golf Europe and excited to represent not just one, but three incredible brands,” Berry said. “My priority will be to work closely with our retail partners, provide them with the support they need, and help grow the territory for the benefit of both our customers and Dunlop Golf Europe as a whole.”

Expanding Custom Fitting Across Ireland

The strategic push in England coincides with Dunlop Golf Europe’s expanded presence in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The creation of Jonathan Goodswen’s role responds directly to rising consumer demand for premium, custom-fitting experiences and live product demonstrations. Goodswen is charged with running fitting events and supplying technical support to regional retail stockists.
