Kilspindie Golf Club is seeking an ambitious, motivated, and dynamic individual to become our next General Manager.
About us
Founded in 1867 as Luffness Golf Club and playing over the links at Kilspindie since 1899, the club is situated within East Lothian’s renowned Golf Coast. Kilspindie is widely regarded as one of East Lothian’s premier members’ clubs, with approximately 800 members and a strong international reputation for delivering an outstanding golfing and clubhouse experience.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the General Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the club’s operations, including:
- Financial management and budgeting
- Membership services and development
- Hospitality and clubhouse operations
- Staff leadership and development
- Strategic planning and future growth initiatives

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, financial acumen, and excellent communication skills, together with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service to members, guests, and visitors.
