LONDON — Ball-tracking technology developer Inrange has announced a partnership with the Golf Course Association of Europe (GCAE) to sponsor and present at the upcoming GCAE European Golf Business Conference. The industry gathering is scheduled to take place in Vilamoura, Portugal, from November 11 to 13, 2026.
Inrange, whose technology is currently deployed across nearly 100 driving ranges internationally, aligns with GCAE’s mission to support golf facility operators through operational performance insights and industry benchmarking.
Established in 2003 and headquartered in the Netherlands, the GCAE operates as a non-profit trade association representing European golf facility owners and operators. Beyond policy representation, the association provides market benchmarking data designed to help operators track revenue generation, identify financial inefficiencies, and analyze operational methods from top-performing facilities.
For many European facilities, practice areas historically function as operational cost centers focused primarily on basic ball sales. Metrics such as player dwell time, customer retention, and bay usage frequently go unmonitored. Inrange’s technology platform digitizes open-air driving ranges into connected environments, using shot tracking, interactive gaming, and competitive metrics to increase golfer engagement and generate operational data.
Inrange Co-founder Nick Longley highlighted the alignment between both organizations regarding operational transparency and industry analytics:

“Renate & Colin understand European operators better than anyone, under their leadership, GCAE has given golf businesses something they rarely had: a clear view of how they compare. We want to help bring that same clarity to the range, the one part of the facility nobody’s measuring. Vilamoura is the right place to start that conversation,” said Nick Longley, Co-founder of Inrange. |
