Toro UK has announced structural personnel changes aimed at expanding its professional landscape and grounds care operations across the UK and the wider EMEA region. The appointments include a new Territory Manager for South West England and Wales, alongside an internal promotion to Toro's EMEA Equipment Business Sales team.
Rob Read officially joined Toro UK on September 1st as the new Territory Manager covering South West England and Wales. In this role, Read oversees both the Hayter and Toro brands, managing residential and landscape contractor portfolios while working directly with regional dealers and customers.
Read began his grounds care career at Devon Garden Machinery (DGM), where he gained experience across workshop operations, sales, technical support, and equipment demonstrations. His sales history at DGM involved selling Toro machinery across various customer segments, including domestic showroom clients, golf courses, and caravan sites.
Addressing the appointment, Craig Hoare, Sales & Marketing Manager at Toro U.K. Limited, said:

Read's hiring follows the recent appointment of Jack Roberts, who was brought in to cover the North of England and Scotland as part of Toro’s investment in professional contractor equipment.
Alongside Read’s appointment, Toro UK confirmed that Matt Coleman has stepped into a new regional role as Area Sales Manager for Grounds and Landscape Contractor Equipment within Toro's EMEA Equipment Business Sales team. He reports to Teo Denchev.
Coleman joined Toro UK in 2020, focusing on growing the brand's Landscape Contractor and Siteworks divisions. In his new position, Coleman works with internal teams and distributor networks to execute strategy and drive growth across the broader EMEA region, including the UK market.
