Scotland: Deer Park Golf & Country Club is primed for a landmark 2026 season, with the championship course emerging from the winter break in "outstanding condition" following a comprehensive programme of investment and infrastructure upgrades.
The West Lothian destination has reported a significant surge in interest ahead of the new season, with new golf and leisure memberships reportedly doubling since last year. The club’s ownership has underscored its commitment to high standards through a series of enhancements designed to elevate the experience for both members and visiting players.
Over the winter months, the club focused on three primary areas of development:
Iain Stoddart, PGA Head Professional at Deer Park, noted the immediate impact of the works.
"We’re incredibly proud of the work that’s been completed over the winter. The investment into the course is clear to see, and it’s made a real difference to both the condition and presentation," Stoddart said.
"As the daylight hours get longer and we head into the new season, we’re excited to welcome members and visitors back to Deer Park alongside a swell of new members as they all experience the championship course first-hand."
The club is also shifting its focus toward the Deer Park Masters, a staple of the PGA in Scotland’s Tartan Tour and one of the most prestigious Pro-Am events in the country.
The 36-hole professional tournament, held annually in early August, has a storied history of attracting top-tier talent, including former European Tour members and Ryder Cup players.
