Frilford Heath Golf Club has announced the appointment of PGA Professional and Certified Club Manager (CCM) Simon Fowler as its new Head of Operations.
Fowler brings more than 30 years of industry experience across golf and hospitality to the Oxfordshire estate. His career includes senior management roles at venues such as Royal Mid-Surrey, Merrist Wood, Milford, and Sherfield Oaks. Prior to joining Frilford Heath, Fowler worked as House Manager at West Court Retreat Hotel.
His career background combines operational leadership with guest experience management in both golf environments and luxury hotel settings.
With Fowler joining Managing Director Russell Stebbings, Frilford Heath now features two senior leaders holding Certified Club Manager (CCM) status.
Awarded by the Club Management Association of Europe (CMAE), the CCM designation represents an international standard of professionalism in club management. To achieve the credential, managers must demonstrate competency across 10 core areas, including:
