The Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) has renewed its exclusive partnership with golf travel operator Golfbreaks for an additional three years. The agreement extends a relationship that first began in 2007 and will reach more than two decades of collaboration by the end of the new term.
The partnership focuses on expanding business support and financial returns for PGA Members through the Golfbreaks Pro Travel Club, alongside educational resources and international inspection trips.
Central to the extended agreement is the Golfbreaks Pro Travel Club. Launched in 2023, the initiative has enrolled over 1,000 PGA Members. The programme offers dedicated travel support, preferred rates, and a biennial booking credit of £500 for placing golf travel bookings through the platform.
Over the next two years, Golfbreaks projects it will return more than £500,000 directly to PGA Members through these booking credits.
Under the new contract, the two organisations will continue investing in commercial and educational tools for professionals managing golf travel for their clients and club members.
Key elements of the upcoming term include:
Duncan Rougvie, Head of Commercial at The PGA, highlighted the operational support the agreement provides to members:
“Golfbreaks has been a trusted partner to The PGA for many years, consistently demonstrating a genuine commitment to supporting our Members and helping them grow their businesses through golf travel.
“The continued success of initiatives such as the Golfbreaks Pro Travel club, combined with the team’s investment in dedicated support, educational content and valuable inspection trips, has created real opportunities for PGA Members to deliver exceptional experiences for their clients.
"We're delighted to be extending our partnership for another three years and look forward to building on everything we've achieved together.”

Ben Foster, Director of Pro Travel at Golfbreaks, emphasized the commercial commitment to golf professionals:
"This renewal is about more than extending an agreement. It's about continuing to invest in PGA Professionals and making sure they have a travel partner that genuinely helps them grow.
"We know golf travel has become an increasingly important part of many professionals' businesses, and our role is to make that as rewarding and straightforward as possible. Through our dedicated Pro Travel team, our Pro Travel Club and our long-term partnership with The PGA, we're giving professionals the expertise, support and commercial benefits they need to create outstanding golf experiences for their members and clients.
"More than 1,000 PGA Members have already joined our Pro Travel Club, and committing over half a million pounds back into the professional ecosystem through our booking credit is something we're incredibly proud of. It demonstrates that we're investing in the people who help grow the game every day."
