SALTEX (Sports Amenities and Landscaping Exhibition) will return to the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham on November 11–12. Organised by the Grounds Management Association (GMA), the event brings together suppliers, manufacturers, practitioners, and decision-makers in sports turf, landscaping, and amenity management.
First established in 1938, SALTEX serves as a platform for discovering new products, sharing industry knowledge, and establishing business connections. This year’s exhibition will showcase developments in machinery, technology, infrastructure, sustainability, and grounds management services.
Among the returning exhibitors is Howardson Group, incorporating Dennis Mowers, SISIS, and Hunter Grinders, whose involvement with the show dates back to its inception.
Megan Oliver, Managing Director of Howardson Group, highlighted the event's importance to their operations:
“SALTEX has always been one of the most important events in the grounds management calendar for Howardson Group. It gives us the opportunity to showcase the continued development of Dennis, SISIS and Hunter Grinders, meet customers from across the industry and better understand the challenges they face. Those conversations are invaluable, they help ensure we continue to develop equipment that delivers the quality, reliability and performance grounds professionals depend on.”
Howardson Group plans to feature its expanded Hunter Grinders range, which is now designed, engineered, and manufactured alongside Dennis and SISIS at the company’s headquarters in Derbyshire.
“This year is particularly exciting as we continue to expand the Hunter Grinders range, which is now designed, engineered, and manufactured alongside Dennis and SISIS at our Derbyshire headquarters. As British manufacturers, we’re proud to support the industry through continual product development, practical advice and long-term customer relationships, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand in November,” Oliver added.
The event organisers emphasized that the strong presence of established brands reflects the exhibition's role within the sector.
Sarah Hunter, Head of Events at the GMA, stated:
“The return of so many leading brands demonstrates the confidence that exhibitors have in SALTEX and the value it delivers year after year. Whether companies have supported the exhibition since its earliest days or are continuing a more recent journey with us, their commitment helps make SALTEX the industry’s most important meeting place for innovation, education and business growth.”
