The Dalaman Golf Club officially launched on August 30 by hosting its Founding Preview Invitational, introducing the region’s first golf venue ahead of its official opening for play on September 1. Located in southwest Türkiye, the launch marks a significant expansion for regional tourism and golf culture.
Founding Preview Invitational Results
Timed to coincide with Türkiye’s Victory Day, the preview event welcomed prospective members and visitors to play the new par-72 championship course and experience the club's amenities.
Participants competed in an individual Stableford format, wearing colors inspired by the Turkish flag:
- Men: White polo shirts and red caps
- Ladies: Red polo shirts and white caps
Tournament Winners
- Category A: Callum Kenny (Prenton GC, Merseyside) placed first with 39 points.
- Category B: Can Özede took top honors with 32 points.
- Ladies’ Competition: Maddison Merritt won first prize with 31 points, defeating Deborah Garnett on countback.
Course Design and Facility Features
Designed by the International Design Group, the venue is situated on natural sandy soil in an ecological area bordered by beaches, vegetation, and lakes used by migratory birds. The site offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and is located 20 minutes from Dalaman International Airport.
